Omega-3 capsules contain 1000 mg of purified fish oil with at least 35% omega-3 fatty acids. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to normal heart function. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA. Omega 3 capsules also contain vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Omega-3 capsules are taken in a dose of 1 to 2 capsules a day for a long time.
